Hi! I’m Caitlin. I love to read, talk about books, organize books, browse bookstores, etc. When I’m not reading I’m working in Human Resources, listening to podcasts, taking road trips and traveling. I love Jane Austen, but I haven’t read her full cannon yet (I’m working on it!) and would love to travel to her house in England one day. I really enjoy reading to learn. I have a passion for reading nonfiction, especially investigative journalism, biography, memoir and true crime. When I’m reading fiction it’s usually crime, mystery, thriller, romance or classics.

I own a lot of books. Over 1,000. That’s just the physical books. I own plenty of e-books and some audio books as well. It started as a simple collection and has kept growing over the years. There were times when I was serious about buying and collecting antique books, but I don’t do that anymore. Nowadays I buy books to support independent bookstores, to read for book clubs and to support my favorite authors.

Some of my favorite non-fiction genres are memoir, autobiography, biography, true crime, pop-science, nature, self-help and long form investigative journalism.

Some of my favorite fiction genres are contemporary fiction, thriller, mystery, family saga and romance.
